£4 million AD plant starts up in Cumbria
A £4M Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant has been switched on in West Cumbria.
Farmgen’s plant at Dryholme Farm, near Silloth, started supplying electricity to the national grid on Friday (November 4), marking a major milestone for farm-based AD energy production in the area.
